At your visit, your eye condition may require treatment and may include the following procedures:

Laser surgery

Cataract & Glaucoma Specialists is equipped with the latest SLT and YAG lasers for the treatment of glaucoma and following cataract surgery to treat posterior capsular opacification (PCO). We are able to perform selective laser trabeculoplasty (SLT), laser peripheral iridotomy (LPI) and YAG capsulotomy (YAG) in our rooms. Patients should not drive on the day of their laser surgery, however by the next day their vision will usually return to the level it was before the treatment.


Our doctors are experts in the surgical management of cataract and glaucoma. Our surgeons have accreditation at a number of public and private accredited hospitals and day surgeries. Your specialist will talk discuss with you the preferred facility for your operation depending on the operation you require, whether or not you have health insurance and what is most convenient for you. The date required for surgeries will be scheduled at the time of your visitation.
